FOR SALE

It's true, our home is up for sale. We are actually planning on moving somewhere smaller and less expensive. Twins on the way and moving somewhere smaller? Yes. :) I was so encouraged today listening to John Piper's message, "Don't waste your life." (You can listen to it from his website: http://www.desiringgod.org/ResourceLibrary/ConferenceMessages/ByDate/1858_Dont_Waste_Your_Life/) If this world was all there was...if our life merely consisted in the abundance of our possesions...this would not be a happy move. But it is!

"These all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland. If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return. But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city" (Hebrews 11:13-16).

Catch Up

We want to catch up up to pace a bit with big brother, Joshua. He was born 6 weeks early on Sept. 6th, 2006. He weighed 5lb, 5oz at birth. The above picture was taken on September 11th. He weighed only 4lb, 14oz at this point. These pictures were all taken by my very gifted sister, Cheryl. (Thanks Cheryl!)

That's cupcake that you see all around his mouth. :) We had a family birthday party for him and that was when we gave the news that we were expecting another. (Little did we know that there were two on their way!)

TWINS!

We thought this blog may be a fun way to keep our family and friends up to pace with us. As you can see, lots of changes are going on in our lives. :) We are filled with faith and joy in our sovereign God. If we did not know that He was the one arranging our steps and apportioning our lot, we would have much to be anxious about. But we serve an awesome God! This is an invitation to follow along with us as we daily experience His grace and goodness through every joy, sorrow, blessing, trial and change!
